Re-election Campaign (October 2026) Your Voice | Our Community
I am pleased to announce that I will be seeking re-election as Councillor for Ward 2 (Thurlow) in the City of Belleville on October 26, 2026.
Since being elected in 2022, it has been a privilege to serve the residents of our beautiful and growing community. I have thoroughly enjoyed being able to represent your voice at Council meetings and to the City as a whole. Thank you to everyone for entrusting me to represent you on Belleville City Council.
For those of you who have followed along, you know I’m invested and don’t hesitate to make the hard decisions, even when those decisions are not always popular. My record reflects I’m prepared to tackle new challenges, such as the many committees on which I serve and I learn from each experience.
After almost 40 years in the Banking industry, being a Small Business owner, and as a volunteer with a number of charitable organizations, it goes without saying, that I’m fiscally prudent and have an obligation to ensure that taxpayers receive the best for the services we experience, while doing my best to keep taxes as low as possible. Not always an easy task; but I’m prepared to put in the time.
One of the things I have enjoyed the most are the regular Town Halls hosted for Ward 2, as it gives me the opportunity to meet with you personally, to discuss issues that are important to you and for you to hear first-hand what’s happening at City Hall. I don’t subscribe to the notion the only time you might see me is door-knocking during an election campaign. It’s YOUR Voice and OUR Community.
I hope I can count on your support on October 26th. If I can provide any further information, please reach out to my campaign email [email protected]
