Belleville sells 110 acres of industrial land that would become Amazon Warehouse for $4M

A by-law to approve and authorize the sale of property by The Corporation of the City of Belleville to Toro GP Inc. in its capacity as the general partner of Toro Limited Partnership.

Belleville sold to TORO GP Inc. in its capacity as the general partner of TORO LIMITED PARTNERSHIP for $4,082,000 for the development of an estimated $135 million ‘warehouse’ facility that turned out to be YGK1-AMXL Amazon Fulfillment Center located at 640 College St E, Belleville, ON K8N 4Z6.

In September 2022, Broccolini entered into a build-to-suit industrial lease to construct and lease the facility as a fulfillment centre to a tenant. Upon completing the build-out, Broccolini successfully negotiated the sale of the property, thereby realizing its value creation strategy for its 8th opportunistic real estate fund.

On December 16, 2024, Toro Limited Partnership (“Broccolini”) successfully completed the sale of a 1,049,795 square foot industrial distribution facility at 640 College Street East, Belleville.
