The City of Belleville is delighted to announce the addition of Dr. Anuja Ashok to the Belleville Family Physician Recruitment Program. Dr. Ashok is currently completing her residency training at Queen’s University and is expected to start practicing medicine in Belleville as early as the fall of 2027.
“I have had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Ashok and her husband,” said Mayor Neil Ellis. “Not only will she be a terrific doctor, but together they will be a wonderful addition to our city. Council and the community are very lucky Dr. Ashok has chosen Belleville as her new home.”

Dr. Ashok’s arrival underscores the City’s commitment to enhancing local healthcare services by attracting much-needed medical professionals. The City of Belleville looks forward to the positive impact that she will bring to the community.
