Councillor Paul Carr asked for a friendly amendment to the tabling motion that city staff look at the impact making downtown parking free:
I would ask though that in addition to the information that’s been requested there, because it’s only one committee meeting then coming back to council, for the committee’s consideration look at the costs and impacts of eliminating paid parking in downtown. I think it’d be worthy for the committee to look at that as well.
