Councillor Thompson asks staff for report on $100 Water and Sewer Relief Program for Low-Income Seniors or Persons with Disabilities

Motion

That the Notice of Motion from the July 14, 2025 Council meeting with respect to a Water and Sewer Relief Program for Low-Income Seniors in the amount of 10% of the standard residential water and sewer rates be withdrawn.

And that staff prepare a report for Council’s consideration at the 2026 Council Minutes September 22, 2025 Operating Budget deliberation to implement a Water and Sewer Relief Program for Low-Income Seniors or Persons with Disabilities in an amount of up to $100.
