Belleville approved rezoning the land owned by Harbour LP 25 to facilitate the construction of 213 units across a range of dwelling types including stacked and back-to-back townhouse dwellings, a mixed-use low-rise multi-unit dwelling, and a mixed-use mid-rise multi-unit dwelling.

That the Planning Advisory Committee recommends the following to City Council:

That, pursuant to the Principal Planner’s Report No. APS-2026-07 Staff Recommendation Report for proposed Zoning By-law Amendment (By-law 2024-100), as amended, for 25 Old Bay Bridge Road, City of Belleville, be approved as follows:

That Zoning By-law Number 2024-100, as amended, be amended by rezoning the subject land from Mixed-Use Type 2 (MX2-1) Zone with special provisions to Residential Type 2 (R2-32) Zone with special provisions to facilitate the construction of 213 units across a range of dwelling types including stacked and back-to-back townhouse dwellings, a mixed-use low-rise multi-unit dwelling, and a mixed-use mid-rise multi-unit dwelling;

And that a by-law to amend By-law Number 2024-100 being a by-law to regulate the use of land and the height, bulk, location, size, floor area, spacing, character and use of buildings, be prepared for Council’s consideration.
