  • R1 – Residential Type 1
  • R2 – Residential Type 2
  • R3 – Residential Type 3
  • RR – Rural Residential
  • RMH – Residential Mobile Home
  • MX1 – Mixed-Use Type 1
  • MX2 – Mixed-Use Type 2

R1 – Residential Type 1

Up to 4 unit fourplex residential units.

  • 1-4 unit dwellings
  • Long-term Care Home
  • Max height: 11 m

R2 – Residential Type 2

Up to 4 storey apartments.

All of the types in R1, plus:

  • Stacked Townhouse Dwelling
  • Back-to-back Townhouse Dwelling
  • Low-rise Multi-unit Dwelling (4 or fewer storeys), Max height: 13.5 m

R2-6 stacked townhouse dwellings: Building Height (maximum): 3 storeys or 14.0 metres, whichever is less

R3 – Residential Type 3

Up to 10+ storey apartments.

All of the types in R2, plus:

  • Low-rise Multi-unit Dwelling (4 or fewer storeys), Max height: 13.5 m
  • Mid-rise Multi-unit Dwelling (5-9 storeys), Max height: 27 m
  • High-rise Multi-unit Dwelling (10+ storeys), Max height: 58 m
