Ross McDougall, owner of McDougall Insurance – the largest insurance brokerage in Eastern Ontario – and Rob Haggarty the owner of International Truckload Services (ITS) donated $20,000 to Belleville Police Service to equip all 15 front line vehicles with AED Defibrillators. The model of defibrillator being used in the police vehicle is the same model used by the ambulances in Belleville, allowing first responders to swap between devices quickly and easily when needed.

We’re delighted to support the defibrillators. It will make a difference and it will save lives, it’s a wonderful thing that police are doing it. Both Rob and I are just happy to get the opportunity to support the police

Before, when I was working with ITS, we always supported the police with a couple of police dogs. Whenever they called, we were always there

I’m really glad we could help out and we’ll do something again. We’ll be there
