It is the site of a subdivision design proposed in 2022 by 2663925 Ontario Inc. / 2566531 Ontario Inc. through RFA Planning Consultant Inc. consisting of 695 units named “Village of Avonlea”, including:
- 260 single homes
- 36 semi-detached homes
- 91 townhouses
- 68 horizontal multiple attached homes
- eight low-rise apartments
- 96 units
- 3 high-density apartment complexes with 144 units.
RFA Planning Consultants Inc. acted as the Project Manager and Planner for the subdivision, stating that it “will result in 700 low, medium and high density residential units”:
