Ontario government permits Black Bear Ridge Golf Course to take 2.1M litres per day from Moira River

The Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks has issued a permit to take water to allow Black Bear Ridge GP Inc. to take up to 2,121,120 litres of water per day from the Moira River for the purpose of golf course irrigation from April 1 to October 31 for a period of 10 years until January 21, 2032.

We have issued a new Permit to Take Water No. 7325-CAVU47 on January 28, 2022, which cancels and replaces Permit to take Water No. 0888-8VVNR3 for Black Bear Ridge GP Inc. for purposes located in Township of Thurlow, Ontario.

The new Permit to Take Water has an expiry date of January 21, 2032.
