Belleville updates Grant Committee policy

Changes to the program included:

• The maximum grant allocation for the Community Impact grant has been reviewed and updated to $10,000 (Total between Financial assistance and Municipal resources);
• Tourism Impact – $10,000 (Total between Financial assistance and Municipal resources)
• Updated application questions and evaluation criteria for the Community Impact and Tourism streams – the organization must provide details of how and who they have reached out to form partnerships or sponsorships
• Updated application questions and evaluation criteria for the Community Impact and Tourism streams – the organization must provide more information on their expected outcomes such as; expected number of attendees, volunteers, etc.
• Tourism Grant – Applicants will have to describe how their event encourages or promotes Belleville as a destination
• Social Infrastructure – Projects that will be the city’s responsibility or become city assets will not be ineligible for funding from any of the four funding streams
