Committees of the House of Commons are working groups created by the House of Commons consisting of a limited number of Members of Parliament (MPs) who study bills or issues, under the committee’s mandate, on specific topics and in greater detail for the House of Commons. They execute a large portion of parliamentary work.

The newsletter is a simple way to stay up to date on the activities of House of Commons committees.
When you subscribe, you can select:
- the committees you are interested in;
- the types of publications you would like to receive (e.g., notices of meetings, committee reports, news releases, etc.); and
- how often you wish to receive the newsletter by email.
*Upon dissolution all subscriptions will be cancelled, it will be necessary to subscribe again at the start of a new Parliament.*
