AccessAbility Week Event

Mayor Neil Ellis and the City of Belleville’s Accessibility Advisory Committee would like to invite residents to join them for a special event on May 28 in honour of National AccessAbility Week (May 26 to June 1).

The event will feature remarks from Mayor Ellis and a “fireside chat” between Assistant Deputy Minister for Seniors and Accessibility Meenu Sikand and Councillor Barbara Enright- Miller, Chair of the Belleville Accessibility Advisory Committee. Light refreshments will be provided.

WHAT: AccessAbility Week Event
WHEN: Tuesday, May 28 from 1 to 3 p.m.
WHERE: Council Chamber, 4th Floor, Belleville City Hall (accessible by first-floor elevator)

Spaces for the event are limited. Those interested in attending must register in advance at BellevilleAccessAbilityEvent.Eventbrite.com to reserve their spot. An ASL interpreter will be present for the event. For more information or to request specific accessibility supports, please email [email protected] or call 613-967-3200 ext. 3502.

The event will also be livestreamed on the City’s YouTube channel for those unable to attend. Pre-registration is not required for the livestream.
