  • Music by Andy Forgie and members of the Quinte Symphony
  • Guided tours of City Hall
  • Period actors
  • Historical games from Glanmore National Historic Site
  • Scavenger hunts
  • Prizes
  • Documentary Screenings

The Hastings County Historical Society and the Community Archives of Belleville Hastings County have also curated special displays for the event on the history of the building, how its role and function have changed over the years, renovations that have taken place and more.

Welcoming remarks will be provided by Mayor Neil Ellis and Heritage Belleville beginning at 10 a.m. at the Bernice Parrott Stage in Market Square behind City Hall. All are welcome to drop by throughout the day.

“150 years is a remarkable milestone for Belleville City Hall,” said Heritage Belleville Chair Karen Fisk. “We want to invite our entire community to come celebrate with us as we look back on the history of this Belleville landmark and how it serves our city today. Mark your calendar and be sure to join us for this wonderful occasion!”
