Belleville Youth Engagement Committee Now Accepting Applications

The City of Belleville is looking for individuals between the ages of 15 and 29 to join the Youth Engagement Committee.

The Youth Engagement Committee is made up of eight community representatives between the ages of 15 and 29 and two councillors. The committee advises council based on the interest of youth in our community and engages and educates youth on opportunities and resources available to them. The committee holds regular meetings on the second Thursday of each month.

Applications can be submitted online through the new Belleville Youth Engagement Committee webpage. This webpage also includes the committee’s mandate, responsibilities, highlights, newsletter and various community resources available for youth.  Alternatively, applications can be submitted by mail (169 Front St., Belleville, Ont. K8N 2Y8 – ATTN: Clerk’s Office), email or in person at City Hall. A printable version of the application form is available on the committee’s webpage.
